Holiday Closures and Service Adjustments in The Woodlands |
Important Updates on Facility Hours and Community Guidelines for the Festive Season |
The Woodlands Township announces upcoming holiday closures and service modifications to accommodate the festive season.
Residents are urged to adhere to community guidelines by refraining from using personal fireworks, as stipulated in The Woodlands Covenants.
Given the area's dense forestation, a single stray spark could lead to significant damage.
The Woodlands Fire Department emphasizes the importance of reserving 9-1-1 calls for genuine emergencies.
Facility Closures and Adjusted Hours:
- **Township Offices and Recreation Centers**: The Woodlands Township offices, along with The Recreation Center at Bear Branch and The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

- **Christmas Tree Disposal**: Starting December 26, live trees can be placed curbside on regular service days.
Ensure all decorations, lights, and stands are removed.

Alternatively, undecorated live trees can be dropped off at the tree corral in the parking lot of The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, from December 26, 2025, through January 11, 2026.
These trees will be chipped and used as flooring at Texas TreeVentures.

Flocked and artificial trees are not accepted.
