Exciting news: you can soon bring home a FREE tree to plant in your own backyard!

 

The Woodlands Township is hosting its 50th Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park, located at 6055 Creekside Forest Drive.

 

Planting a tree is like welcoming a new green friend to your home.

 

Trees provide us with fresh air, offer shade on sunny days, and create homes for birds and squirrels.

 

Imagine watching your very own tree grow taller each year, perhaps even becoming a giant you can climb when you're older!

 

This year is extra special because it's the 50th time The Woodlands has organized this event.

 

For five decades, kids and families like yours have been helping our community stay green and beautiful.

 

Want to be part of the fun?

 

Ask a grown-up to take you to The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park on Saturday, January 31st, between 9 a.m. and noon.

 

You can pick out your very own native tree seedling.

 

These baby trees are perfect for planting and watching them sprout up!
