The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department has unveiled the 2026 Splash Guide, a comprehensive resource detailing the community's summer aquatics programs, events, and activities.

Residents can access the guide online Guide or pick up printed copies at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park and The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.

This year's guide showcases a variety of offerings across the Township's 14 community pools and six spraygrounds.

Highlights include swim lessons for all ages, fitness classes, and unique events like the High Seas Adventure challenge, Pop at the Pool, and the Red, Hot & Pool celebration.

Season pool passes are available, providing unlimited access to all Township pools and priority entry to select special events throughout the summer.

Notably, the Township's Aquatics Department received the "Special Event of the Year" award from the Texas Public Pool Council for their "Morning with the Mermaid" program.

This sold-out event featured a live mermaid, engaging children with underwater games and crafts. Due to its success, the event is scheduled to return in summer 2026.

Registration for summer programs opens April 13, 2026. For more information, to register for programs, or to purchase pool passes, residents are encouraged to visit the  Township's website or stop by one of the recreation centers.
