Housing options are diverse, with a B+ rating, and the area is noted for its A+ job opportunities. Diversity is celebrated, earning an A- grade, while the cost of living is rated B.

 

In the real estate sector, The Woodlands has seen a surge in housing inventory, with active listings increasing by 56% in 2025. This growth provides prospective buyers with a wider range of options. Despite the increased inventory, the median home sale price rose to approximately $646,000 in June 2025, a 5% year-over-year increase, indicating sustained demand and the area's desirability.
